Today marks 2 weeks since I began this journey, and I wanted to push towards 60 days. But my journey is ending here. I will break my fast and move my diet to 2/3 Juicing and 1 Vegan meal a day.  My doctor says I should try this version of the diet for the time being. I hope that someday I can afford another juicer for when I am on the road. I feel successful that I lost 35 lbs in 2 weeks. For now I am going to try the new version of my diet and see how the weight comes off. I hope to go 2 weeks again in a couple months on nothing but Juice again and see how many more lbs I can take off in that fast.

I believe in No Excuses but at some points in life there really is not enough time in the day. Currently I am multitasking to the point that I am doing laundry, Dishes, Blogging, and Uploading. I still have to get clothes to the cleaners, get home make my wife Juice and take it to her for lunch. And its only 8:30 in the morning. So I appologize for my second blog that I missed. Today's blog is almost like a sermon, not a Sermon about Christ or any other religious figure but about the people who always ask me about the juicing, the people who say I CAN'T DO THAT. Yes you can, do you like to live? Do you love to see your family and or children? YES YOU CAN DO THIS! Don't think about who you are now, think about who your going to become in this journey. How much better your going to feel when its done. And the new life you will live because of it. It will change your life for the better. But first things first, if you haven't seen Fat Sick and Nearly Dead yet.... You need to watch it and then go to http://jointhereboot.com. What are you waiting for? Get Juicing!!! Watch this video below from Joe Cross, he is the man who inspired me to Reboot my life!

Day 10, I am really sorry I didn't post yesterday but here I am today back at it. Today I have lost 29.4 lbs. Energy Level is amazing. Feeling Great and looking forward to the future. Being here no versus where I was 10 days ago...fuggehht about it! Hoping to wake up at 32 or 33 lbs in the morning. The key to this so far me is to drink my juice and tons and tons of water. I can't believe I used to drink so much Dr. Pepper. I was paying to kill myself. Never Again. Till we meet again, Peace, Love, and Soul!!!!!

Week 2 - Day #1
Driving around all day running errands and barely had time to juice but it was done. 2 week. These are becoming more like milestones than a single day. Wife left town today and now its just me and my 3 kids. I think its going to be an early bedtime for everyone tonight including Daddy. I think tomorrow we go off to Nana Suzanne's house while Braxton is at school. Lots of energy to keep going and getting stuff done. Able to bend over without gasping for breathe while tying my shoes. Thank God! Anyways until tomorrow! Juice On!!

Day 7 - Its a lazy day here at the Drummond Household. It was a long weekend of shows. I find that each day gets a little easier. Energy levels keep raising. Swelling of my legs is gone. I guess today is the Superbowl. I am a little tired today, but after 2 - 20 hour days this weekend, I think I deserve to be a little tired. Tomorrow makes one full week since I started the Juice Fast. I am down 24 lbs. To me that is just amazing. I hope that it keeps coming off so easily. Well this isn't easy but the weight loss makes it completely worth it. Thanks for all the support. Keep Juicing!

Day #6 is starting pretty well. Got home around 2:40 this morning and the wife and kids woke me up around 9:30. I feel really good. Good energy levels today. Last night was the first time I can remember when I wasn't sweating buckets of sweat all night. Its a lazy Saturday and all I really want to do today is just relax and take it easy. Enjoy the video!

Day #5 - First off let me apologize for my video today. I did it with iMovie and for some reason when I went back and watched it the Video and Audio was out of Sync. I tried to fix it but its not the best. Well we did it and we are passed the magic barrier that is day 4. Adding more vegetables now and trying to raise my protein intake. I am down 20lbs today. Major Win. Not Charlie Sheen type win but a Win none the less. I think I am going to be able to really do this. One day at a time and one victory at a time. No rush to get done. Things are changing. We feel much better. Carmon's knees don't hurt all the time. The kids still don't understand why we aren't eating. But they always beg me to make them apple and orange juice. Tonight is a work night for me so when I am done here I switch to work mode. Anyways enough for now. Keep On Juicing!

Day #4 -  Well here is the "GOLDEN" day where everything is suppose to become much easier. I hope magically when I wake up in the morning tomorrow that a whole new light shows upon me. Do I really believe that? No not really. Food pains have subsided. One thing this diet has created in me is a habit. I wake up and I juice, I clean. I juice our lunch, take it to my wife and then clean. Then I juice Dinner and then clean. The process of juicing has become an everyday process. I have had to enlist the help of a laxative because apparently my bowels have stopped moving since I am no longer introducing fiber to by body. Have to take care of the Colon they say. Enough about the gross stuff. My wife and I are doing well with this. A few of my friends have said they want to start juicing too. I think its awesome. Even if you only juice for a week, Good for you! If you want to try it then do it, if you can only make it 3 days then Good for you for trying! This isn't about perfection, this is about a life change. I am feeling more energy and that feels good. I think I am about to the point that I want to hit a gym for Cardio and swimming (better start my man scaping now) and some weight lifting. I know the juicing will make you loose weight on its own, but I would like to help it along with a little work on my side too. Enjoy Your Day!

Oh My Goodness, I am so hungry right now it's hurting but I am going to be strong. Today I got to go to Sonic and buy my little girl lunch which was a grilled cheese and tater tots. I just had to sit there and make her wait till we got home before she could eat. As of today I have dropped my weight to 384.0 which is a total weight loss to 14.2 lbs. I take my weight in the morning so I am sure as the day moves on it gets higher. I have had a lot of people asking me to show how I do the juicing, secretly I think they just want to see my juicer in action. Sorry this took so long today, but I wasnt able to film myself making them till dinner time. For now enjoy the video. Juice On you Juicyphiles!

Day# 2. Honestly I don't feel as bad as I thought I would right now. We have been experimenting with Juicing Flavors. We have found that Cucumber is not one our favorites so we have switched to spinach. We have a breakfast juice we drink and then we have a juice we drink for lunch and dinner. And for a little extra fun we use our magic bullet mixer and turn our Juice into Slushees! They say that your juice should be green so that you know your getting the micronutrients you need. And I am pretty sure its plenty green. The support groups on the internet are amazing and you can always find a recipe to try. Here is our newest recipe.

2 Green Apples
2 Pears
2 Bunches of Spinach
3 Carrots
3 Pineapple Spears
Mix it with ICE and it comes out looking like this.

Day #1 Of the 60 Day Juice Fast! The hunger pains are starting to kick in and every where I look all I see is food. I know this will be much harder than when I gave up Dr. Pepper.

Sunday, January 22, 2012

Hi my name is Michael Drummond. I am 35 years old and I am Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead here in Tulsa Oklahoma. I have made a decision to take a challenge after seeing the Documentary - Fat Sick and Nearly Dead by Australian Joe Cross. This documentary had a profound Life changing effect on me. I watched it twice and both times it had me crying like a little baby. I was amazed at the results the first time I saw it. The second time I was in awe to how much the diet changed these mens lives. If you have not seen Fat Sick and Nearly Dead then please login to Netflix now and watch it. I will be posting a daily video blog to explain whats happening with me in my mental, physical and emotional settings as I go thru 60 days without food. YES I SAID 60 DAYS WITH NO FOOD! I will be only drinking what is referred to as "Mean Green". Juiced Kale, Cucumbers, Lemon, 2 Apples, and Ginger. Come along with me on this Journey. I plan to come out of it different in many ways. Thanks for the support!
